Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Embroidery Machine Operator at our Whitefish Montana facility. This person will be responsible for operating an industrial multi-head embroidery machine, improving cost efficiencies, reducing the probability of error to achieve client satisfaction, and creating a safe and hazard-free work environment. The Embroidery Operator will excel at troubleshooting, work well under pressure within tight deadlines, and fully understand the importance of quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience running industrial embroidery machines. Familiarity with Barudan equipment is a plus.
  • Expertise with Wilcom Embroidery Studio – Designing, as well as best practices in translating and digitizing client artwork to quality production files is a plus.
  • Regular embroidery and related equipment maintenance, as well as basic press troubleshooting as required.
  • Ability to effectively manage more junior team members with varying levels of experience and contribute to the growth and learning of those you work with.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Production Manager to advise upon and ensure daily assigned production schedule and advise on processes and requirements to achieve the best possible results.
  • Accurately follow order ticket and job board to verify the quantity, embroidery locations, color ways, etc to be stitched out.
  • Managing daily embroidery jobs successfully, including maintaining optimum production rate, while prioritizing quality for each finished piece.
  • Assist in determining, ordering and maintaining appropriate inventory on all expendables and related supplies.
  • Managing daily embroidery jobs successfully, including maintaining optimum production rate, without compromising quality.
  • Expediently resolve equipment and production issues and help ensure production schedules and deadlines.
  • Ensures proper cleanliness of embroidery equipment, workstation and immediate production area.
  • Ability to effectively manage more junior team members with varying levels of experience and contribute to the growth and learning of those you work with.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices for embroidery and embroidery machines.
  • Expertise in sewing and JUKI commercial sewing machines is a big plus.
